Frequently asked questions for "Email"

Can I stop receiving EuroClix emails for a while?
Yes, it is possible to stop receiving emails for a specific period of time. Click here to indicate how long and when you do not want to receive any emails.

Emails from EuroClix are marked as unsolicited, SPAM or unsafe, or they do not arrive at all.
Some Internet service and webmail providers block certain messages to prevent you from receiving unsolicited email messages (spam), e.g. when the sender’s email address is not listed in the recipient’s address book.

If you wish to receive all EuroClix emails correctly, we advise you to add EuroClix to your address book and/or safe senders list. You can do this by following a few easy steps. Click here for more information.

Why do my friends receive more emails than me?
Your friends and family may receive more emails from EuroClix than you because the selection of emails we send is based on our members'areas of interest. The number of emails also depends on the selection criteria about target groups, such as age, gender, town/city, etc. It is therefore possible that your friends and family are more often part of a target group than you.

Why do I not receive any invitations for surveys?
With EuroClix, you can participate in surveys for which you are rewarded with Clix. It is possible that you have not received any invitations for surveys for a while, because the market research agency wants to invite members as efficiently as possible. When selecting members for online surveys, we base our selection on the profile details provided by our members. Unfortunately, you will not receive an invitation if the selection criteria for the survey do not apply to you. EuroClix does, however, strive to expand the number of surveys so everyone can benefit.

Why does my account balance in your emails differ from that in my account statement?
This problem can have 2 causes:
1.) You are logged in with a different email address. Perhaps you share your computer with another EuroClix member.
2.) The account statement you see is obsolete because the account statement page has been saved on your computer.

In both cases, you can solve the problem as follows:

If you are using Internet Explorer:
Go to Tools -> Internet Options? -> click on the tab General -> click on Delete in the Browsing History section -> delete all Cookies, Temporary Internet Files and History. If you are using Firefox:
Click on the Tools menu -> select Clear Recent History -> Delete 'Cookies'and 'Buffer’.

How many emails does EuroClix send?
The number of emails you receive depends on the following:

  • The advertiser
  • The profile details you provided EuroClix with
  • The target group the advertiser wants to reach

The merchant decides when to start a new offer. Depending on the details you provided, EuroClix sends you invitations for surveys and/or offers. If you fall into the target group the advertiser prefers, you will receive more emails than when you are not. The target group depends on the offer or survey.

On average, you will receive 3 to 5 emails a week, but, as said, this differs from member to member.

How can I view or change my EuroClix email settings?
You are registered with EuroClix under one email address. If you want us to send our mails to a different email address, you can change your settings here. You can also specify the subjects you would like to receive more information about. We take these into account when sending offers to your email address.

Why do I not receive any emails from EuroClix?
When you join EuroClix, you can specify how you want to receive our offers. The selection of invitations for surveys and offers we send is based on our members'areas of interest. If you have not received any EuroClix emails for a while, we advise you to log in on the EuroClix website and check your areas of interest. It is possible that you have not specified any.

Another explanation for not receiving emails may be that EuroClix emails are being blocked by a SPAM filter. If so, we advise you to check your SPAM filter and/or contact your Internet provider.

Are EuroClix emails a type of SPAM?
No. By joining EuroClix, you allow EuroClix to send you customised emails. In addition, EuroClix works with a double opt-in system: you register on your own initiative and you have to confirm your registration separately. Only then will you become a member and only then will EuroClix send you emails. We want to make sure you become a member without being referred as a EuroClix member by someone else without giving your permission.
